Opening Reception: Plant Life

The concept for Plant Life is that exterior vegetation has begun to infiltrate the library and grow inside the gallery/community space. Six artists/community groups are being commissioned to create works that appear to have entered through the gallery’s windows. These site-specific pieces will be accompanied by other artworks that consider the dualist relationship between the natural environment and human culture.

Plant Life will be on exhibit in the library from July 26 to September 8, 2024.
